Young & The Restless

‘Young And The Restless’ Alum Ray Wise Books A New Gig

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ian Ward (Ray Wise)Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ian Ward (Ray Wise)For a lot of daytime television fans, it’s very excited to see some of their favorite stars on both the small screen and the big screen as they continue to make their mark in Hollywood. In fact, The Young and the Restless alum Ray Wise (Ian Ward) has just booked an exciting new role. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, Wise will appear as Enouch in the Season 2 episode of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is a spinoff of the CW’s Archie comics-inspired teen soap, Riverdale, which has made huge waves over on Netflix.

The show also stars All My Children alum Marc Consuelos (Mateo Santos) and the late actor, Luke Perry. It’s been noted that this take on Sabrina the Teenage Witch is much darker and even spookier than the original series.

Young And The Restless News – Wise Best Known For Role As Hugh Jones

In addition to his work on daytime television, Wise is also best known for his role as Hugh Jones on the television series Agent Carter and of course, Marvin on the hit ABC comedy Fresh Off The Boat. The last time he was on the Young and the Restless was back in 2016.

The actor also has plenty of projects that are currently in the pipeline. They include For Entertainment Purposes Only, The Chain, Unholy Mole, Road To Redemption and To Your Last Death (which are all in post production). It’s also been rumored he will star in a new film called Nightmare City.

Just last year, Wise opened up about how he prepares for the multiple roles that he usually takes on at one time.

Young And The Restless News – Wise Approaches All Characters The Same Way

“From my particular point of view, the character I’m playing is the center of his universe. Everything emanates from him. He may be seen sparsely in the story, but still, the story is coming from his perspective. He’s seeing everything the way that character sees it,” he told Consequence of Sound in an interview.

“Essentially what I’m saying is there’s no difference, to me, between playing a smaller supporting part or a leading role. The characters, to me, are approached the same way.”

In the meantime, don’t forget that the Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network.
