Young and The Restless Alum Kelly Sullivan Books A Brand New Gig

We’ve got exciting news for this General Hospital and The Young and the Restless alum! New reports indicate that actress Kelly Sullivan have just booked a brand new gig and luckily, we’ve got all the details for you. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, Sullivan is working on an exciting new film that will be called Martingale. It’s directed by Jeremy Berg and written by Chris Joseph Taylor. The movie is about a crafty casino security officer who is swallowed up by the seedy underworld of her small town. She will also be on the hunt to search for the man who raped and killed her teenage daughter.

Sullivan plays the role of Andi and from the looks of it, she’s in good company. Other cast members include William Shockley, Rachelle Henry, Jason Adkins, James Grixoni and more.

As far as her daytime work, Kelly Sullivan is best known for her role as Kate Howard and Connie Falconeri on General Hospital and Sage Newman on The Young and the Restless. Her fans loved seeing her on both shows when she was still working on the daytime television circuit.

Back in 2014 Kelly admitted that sometimes it was a challenge to play two characters at once. “The mirror stuff wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be because of the way we filmed it,” she told Soaps.com in an interview. “The hardest part I think thus far would be when Connie was pretending to be Kate in front of Sonny.

Because Sonny is very smart and he sees everything, [it had to be subtle]. As opposed to Kate playing Connie in front of Johnny [Brandon Barash] trying to get information out of him. She’s not as good at it. It’s a challenge, but it’s, oh, man, it’s the greatest thing. It’s so freeing and you can just play. You’re just like a little kid in the sandbox.”

Now, as far as whether or not Kelly would be willing to reprise her roles remains to be seen. For now, we can’t wait to catch her in her new film!
