There is no Lifetime Achievement Award this year for soap stars, although many soap fans would disagree with that decision; there are several actors and actresses who certainly would qualify for their many years of drama and entertainment that they have provided soap fans. Instead, the powers that be have chosen Judge Judith Sheindlin, host of the long-running Judge Judy show to receive her Lifetime Achievement Award apparently on this broadcast.

Sheryl Underwood and Mario Lopez will host the ceremony itself, although General Hospital’s Diane Miller, Carolyn Hennesy will host both the red carpet pre-show and the backstage post-show.
