‘The Young and the Restless’ (YR) Poll: Will Theo and Summer Compete Against Kola?

In a reversal scenario, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) don’t break up ‘Kola’ on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Instead, they team up and compete against them.

Theo and Summer are into self-promotion and drama. Those personality points are two of the reasons why they got together earlier this year. Later, Theo told Summer that they needed a break, which basically ended their brief, so-called relationship.

If Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) remain in love, no one, including Kyle’s last love, will touch them. So rather than selecting two easy courses from what can be the standard soap opera buffet, meaning betrayal and breakup, why not go the opposite way?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tummer Makes A Comeback

Summer finds Theo attractive. Many women do, just as most guys find Summer to be appealing. So chemistry isn’t in question.

If Kyle remains committed and Lola doesn’t allow her feelings of pity for Theo to develop into more, ‘Kola’ will move out of the starter apartment above Crimson Lights and buy that house they’ve been considering. Summer has the cash to match ‘Kola’s’ home with one that she and Theo can call their own.

As far as the families go, seeing the Abbott family expand past Theo’s inclusion, albeit on the Mergeron side, seems ready to happen. But would Kyle and Lola announce their expected baby before Theo and his bride, Summer?

Y&R Spoilers – Quick Trip To The Altar

Fast-forwarding past the reconciliation, through engagement to the altar. Kyle would be tempted to pull a stunt on ‘Tummer’s’ wedding day, but it would likely be just talk. And, Lola would put a stop to her husband’s attempted disruption anyway.

Any attempted grand scenario wedding day probably doesn’t seem like one Theo and Summer would partake in. So, they’d probably just settle for an elopement, springing their nuptials on everyone, including Kyle and Lola, upon their return from Las Vegas, Nevada, or wherever.

A better choice would be to include Kyle and Lola in the ceremony at the Genoa City, Wisconsin, courthouse instead.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – In The Spirit Of Competition

It would be potentially more intriguing to pair off this projected couple against ‘Kola’, rather than splitting Kyle and Lola between Summer and Theo respectively. Y&R fans have already seen Kyle and Summer together and apart many times. Mining that well, even considering the insertion of Lola and Theo, wouldn’t seem to be all that appealing.

Two well-matched pairings, being ‘Kola’ and ‘Tummer’, could match wits indefinitely. Plenty of drama would surely ensue and could include Theo and Summer actually falling in love along the way.
