‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Will Adam Steal Sharon or Chelsea – Chick And Shey In Danger

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) ‘Chick’ relationship is endangered by the same man who is also a threat to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) ‘Shey’ reunion.

Of course, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the character being referenced. His return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, isn’t something even he would have predicted just a few weeks ago. But now that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) demonstrated a need for his father’s presence, Adam must remain. And with that, the perception of conflict may turn into two realities.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chick Shaky Due To Chadam’s History

Chelsea woke Nick up from his Halloween nightmare. In it, the entire Newman family and Egan’s character blamed him for Adam’s death.

Nick’s mind was attempting to deal with the renewed feelings of doom that have again taken hold. Even though he never wanted to see his detested younger brother again, Morrow’s character flew to Las Vegas, Nevada, and retrieved Adam.

Doing the right thing has backfired on Nick in the past. This time he’s worried that Chelsea’s tie to Connor and therefore to Adam will imperil, or end ‘Chick’. This fear is justified.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Rosales Shares Nick Newman’s Concerns

Like Nick, Rey distrusts Adam. He knows that Grossman’s character still holds sway over part of Sharon’s heart. Rey also did what’s best for Connor, by encouraging Sharon to continue counseling Mackey’s alter ego.

Rey’s Halloween nightmare had Sharon siding with Adam in a cool, film noir-like sequence. That subconscious reveal demonstrated that Rey retains his own fears about Adam’s ability to take Sharon from him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Next Move Unpredictable

Adam does love Chelsea and has a soft spot for Sharon. However, he also views both ladies in a transactional manner when needed.

Because Adam doesn’t live by the rules of decency, Nick and Rey remain at a disadvantage. There’s no doubt that Adam’s rogue nature provides a unique appeal that neither Nick or Rey exhibits on any regular basis. In contrast, Adam acts with decency as a last resort, or after a crisis.

Chelsea and Sharon seemed primed to remain off-balance because Adam is once again in their orbit. Nick and Rey can’t currently do anything to permanently alter this problem, but should continue looking out for each other and compare notes regularly in hopes of maintaining relationships with the women they love.
