The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, October 2: Nick Faces Backlash – Nikki’s Got A Plan – Jack Steps Back From Jabot

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 2, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will express concern about the effect of his death ruse on Newman Enterprises. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will encourage him to let Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) handle things so he can deal with his health.

Victor will mention that he hasn’t heard from Summer Newman (Hunter King) and is concerned about her, and they’ll discuss Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and his departure from Genoa City.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Makes A Big Announcement

Meanwhile, at Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer will fill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in on company business, then Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will pop in and talk will turn to Victor’s “resurrection,” which Summer won’t feel like discussing it. Kyle and Summer will step aside to talk privately, and Summer will thank Kyle for all his support. Kyle will guess that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) fell short in his attempt to support her.

Jack and Billy will have a conversation of their own, and Billy will fill Jack in about not actually being at rehab. Billy will explain about his break with reality and how he tried to kill Adam, but Adam doesn’t know it. Jack will express concern but be glad that Billy’s in therapy now.

Jack will then let Kyle and Billy know that he’s stepping back and will no longer be involved in the day-to-day running of Jabot. Rather, he’s going to focus on writing the Abbott family story with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Jack will say that he wants them to run the company together, which they’ll agree to. Jack will ask them to cooperate with each other, then he’ll leave, and Billy will wonder aloud who gets the CEO office.

Meanwhile, in Chancellor Park, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will grill Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) about Victor’s death ruse. Rey will want an explanation for the whole thing, and Paul will say that it was his prerogative, which Rey won’t like. Paul will say that he considered it an undercover operation and it was the best way to nail Adam. Rey will say that he doesn’t think Adam will say away from Genoa City.

Y&R Spoilers – Connor Newman Lashes Out At His Mother

Next on Y&R, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will still be ruffled about the Victor death ruse and the effect it has had on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). She’ll complain about having to tell Connor that his grandfather was dead, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will want to help explain it to him. But Chelsea will refuse that offer, since Nick’s the one who lied to him in the first place.

Nick will leave, then Chelsea will tell Connor that Victor is alive. Connor will want to tell Adam, since Adam was sad over Victor’s death. Chelsea will explain that Adam knew Victor was alive and left anyway, which will seriously upset Connor. He’ll accuse his mom of lying, and they’ll be arguing when Summer appears. Summer will end up talking with Connor and she’ll relay to Chelsea later that they bonded over being lied to. Summer will tell Chelsea to just let Conner be angry.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Seeks Forgiveness

Next on Y&R, at Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get off the phone with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) at boarding school. She’ll remark to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) that Faith is glad to be away. Rey will arrive and Mariah will call him over, to Sharon’s chagrin. Talk will turn to Adam, but Sharon won’t defend him, which will please Rey.

Later Nick will arrive, and he and Sharon will bicker about Faith. Sharon will note that she’s developing coping mechanisms, and that he’s a good dad but really screwed up. Nick will say he’s trying to focus on the good – that Victor is alive, and Adam is gone. After Nick leaves, Mariah will reappear and urge her to fight for her happiness with Rey.

Y&R Spoilers – Nikki Newman Has A Bold Idea

Next on Y&R, Paul will show up at the Newman Ranch to see Victor. He’ll be irked that he believed in Victor’s word, then Victor let Adam walk away. Paul will say there will be no more deals and no more favors. Later, Victor will lament to Nikki about the tension between those who knew about his death ruse and those who didn’t. Nikki will think that perhaps a family get together would unite everyone and make them stronger. Victor will love the idea, and the two will declare their love for each other.

Finally, on Wednesday’s new Y&R episode, Nick will return back home, and he’ll express his regrets to Summer. Summer won’t be sure that anything can fix this, and she’ll say that Nick treated her like a child and an outsider. Summer will not be sure that she’ll be able to forgive him, and after she leaves, Chelsea will wonder what Nick expected. Nick will ask her not to shut him out, but Chelsea will say she needs time alone.
