The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Victoria Is Stunned, Victor Returns As Newman CEO – Quits and Goes To Jabot?

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be stunned when she hears that her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) intends to return as CEO of Newman Enterprises! She won’t be just stunned, but outraged!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Had Just Hit Her Stride As CEO

In spite of having to do damage control in the aftermath of Victor’s “death” and “resurrection”, and fearing, as she told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a recent episode, that she would never get Newman Enterprises back where it was due to the combination of Victor’s stunt and her arrest after being framed by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she had just hit her stride as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) before all that happened.

She knows that she can do the job and do it well; therefore, when she hears that Victor is returning as CEO and demoting her to COO (Chief Operating Officer) she is irate and outraged! She also has some concern that her father is diving in too soon to full time work, since he is still fighting his rare blood disease, even though he is better with his appropriate dose of medicine rather than doubled ones, which is what Adam hoped to incapacitate him with. Victoria knows that Victor is not impulsive and always thinks things out before acting, but she still is concerned.

Y&R Spoilers  – Victoria Newman Blows Up At Her Father

The thing that makes Victoria the most angry is that Victor wasn’t the one to tell her he was coming back full time as CEO; she heard it on the news! Victor explains that he intended to tell her himself but someone in the company leaked the news before he got a chance. She loses her temper, blows up at her father and accuses him of putting her in charge at the family business only because he wanted to rub Adam’s nose in it, and now that Adam is gone, Victor wants to be in control again!

Victoria then snarks that Victor will never learn that Adam isn’t worth it, just as she had never learned that her father would always use her, followed with letting her down! Victoria had always competed with Adam to be the heir apparent at Newman Enterprises, and she feels like no matter how hard she works to impress her father, Adam always ends up with the upper hand! She feels that she has more than proven herself capable of running a company! She then storms out and goes home.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Offers Victoria Newman A Position At Jabot

Victoria tells her husband Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) what has happened when she arrives home; and he is just as angered and suggests she come work with him at Jabot. Y & R viewers will recall that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) stepped away from the day to day operations at Jabot and left Billy and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to co-run Jabot in his absence, so Billy would have hiring power. Longtime Y & R viewers will recall that a few years back, Billy and Victoria had a company together called “Brash & Sassy.”

It eventually failed and folded, but it did prove to Billy and Victoria that they could have some success working together. Billy’s offer will lead Victoria to make a decision that may impact relationships with her whole family, but she’s ready to show everyone that she can be every bit as ruthless as Victor!
