The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, September 3 – Jack Leaves & Appoints Kyle Interim CEO – Devon Reminisces About Katherine – Lola Meets Zoe

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 3, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will sit for drinks at Society and discuss Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) return. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will then come by and needle Jack about Victor potentially sticking a knife in his back.

Meanwhile, across the room, Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) will introduce herself to Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle), and the two will pose for a picture together as a way to promote the restaurant. Zoe will then approach Phyllis with an idea for sabotaging The Grand Phoenix opening celebration. Phyllis will turn her down, telling Zoe that she’s out of her league trying to go after Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Zoe will leave in a huff.

Jack and Victor will continue talking, first about business, then about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor will say that he failed Adam, and that’s why Adam’s done so many horrible things. They’ll discuss how Victor left Adam with his mother, and how Adam hates him for it. Victor will ask about Jack and remark that he has everything a man could want on the surface. But Victor will say that he understands that inexplicable void – when he felt it, he left Genoa City.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Hopes Her Son Is Happy

Next on Y&R, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will visit with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She’ll be concerned about Chloe’s return and the impact it will have on Nick and Chelsea. Nick will say that he and Chelsea are back together, and Nikki will think that it’s a bit soon, but she’ll note that Nick is happy. She will, however, warn him about Adam, and Nick will say that he has no desire to interfere between

Meanwhile, Adam and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will talk at Crimson Lights. Sharon will voice her concern for him with respect to Chloe’s return, and Adam will scoff. They’ll rehash the marriage proposal, and Adam will complain about losing her and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). He’ll think that someday Christian may hate Nick just as much as he hates Victor. Ultimately, he’ll be frustrated that Sharon won’t admit that she really wants him and leave. Then Sharon will see Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) standing there. He’ll offer to talk or to perhaps arrest Adam. Sharon will think that he’s sweet, but she’ll leave.

Next on Y&R, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will talk at the penthouse about the issue with Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will. Devon will still have no idea what the discrepancies with the will are about, but he’ll say that the whole thing is bringing back memories of Katherine. Devon will tell Elena stories about Katherine and say that she was an amazing woman. Elena will think that Devon’s done right by Katherine’s legacy. They’ll wonder why someone would wait so long to contest the will and what exactly they’re contesting. They’ll agree to get through it together.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Approached By Phyllis Summers

Back at Society, Victor will talk to Nikki via phone, then he’ll tell Jack that Nikki has helped him a lot during his low points. He’ll hope that Jack finds what he’s searching for. Later, Adam will be approached by Phyllis at the bar. Phyllis will want to talk about cooking up payback, but Adam won’t be in the mood. Ultimately, Phyllis will snark at him and leave.

Meanwhile, Sharon will visit with Nick at his house and will ask him to look after Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) for her, as she will be taking a trip after The Grand Phoenix opening. Sharon will say that she plans on returning from her trip with a new purpose.

Next on Y&R, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will learn from Lola that she posed for a selfie with Zoe to promote Society. Later, after a shower malfunction, Rey will arrive at the apartment and he and Lola will talk about Sharon and her dealings with Adam. After Rey leaves, Lola will suggest that they move, since the apartment is like “heartbreak hotel” for Rey. Kyle will enthusiastically agree, before getting a text from Jack.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Realizes How Lucky He Is

Kyle will arrive at the Abbott estate to talk to Jack. Jack will explain that he’s leaving for a while and that he’d like Kyle to become Interim CEO at Jabot while he’s away. Kyle will be shocked by the request and surprised that his father trusts him to fill in after what happened the last time he was in charge of things. Jack will think that Kyle will make him proud.

Meanwhile, at the Newman ranch, Victor will remark to Nikki that he’s realized what a lucky man he is after talking with Jack.

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Y&R, Jack will be in the car, and the imaginary young version of John Abbott (Johnathan Stoddard) will be in the backseat. John will say, “Where are we headed to, Jackie?” Jack will reply that he doesn’t know, but that he’ll let him know when they get there.
