The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, October 8: Billy Offers Victoria A Job – Devon Fires Theo – Phyllis Tracks Down Adam

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, October 8, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will argue over the security software that Phyllis wants to change up. Abby will get in a dig about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and ultimately Phyllis will win about the software. Phyllis will then bump into Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and they’ll make small talk, then Phyllis will mention Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll).

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will talk with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and vent about how she’s been loyal to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and how he’s coming back as CEO of Newman Enterprises and she found out from a reporter. Billy will suggest that she resign and come to work at Jabot.

Y&R Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Gets Fired

Next on Y&R, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will try to call Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who will ignore her call before taking a meeting with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at Society. Theo will once again trash-talk Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), saying that she ignored his advice about growing Power Communications and that she doesn’t have the instincts yet. This will prompt Devon to tell Theo he’s out.

Theo will protest and say that it’s up to Mariah, but Devon will disagree and proceed to tell him that he’s no longer employed in any capacity by Hamilton-Winters. Later, Theo will find Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) in the kitchen and they’ll have a laugh over him nearly passing out the last time they were together. She’ll then get irritated when he seems to be pushing about making things right with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Feels Slighted

Next on Y&R, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle will arrive at Jabot to find Summer there. Kyle and Summer will plan to meet at The Grand Phoenix later. Jack and Kyle will then talk in the CEO office with Billy and Victoria, where Billy is trying to persuade Victoria to come to Jabot. After Victoria and Jack leave, Kyle will tell Billy that hiring Victoria isn’t his call to make on his own because they’re supposed to be equals.

Billy won’t respect what Kyle is trying to say and will refer to Kyle as a kid. Kyle will fire back that Billy shouldn’t call him that again. Billy will then get on a call sitting at the desk and order Kyle to shut the door on his way out.

Next on Y&R, Summer will arrive at The Grand Phoenix for her meeting with Kyle but will change her mind and text Kyle about changing their venue after getting into it with Abby over Victor’s death ruse. Devon will then arrive and see Amanda talking to Phyllis, who will want Chase’s contact information from Amanda. Amanda will say she can’t help Phyllis.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will overhear as Devon then talks to Amanda and tells her that he has limits. Amanda will talk to Phyllis again and thank her for not mentioning her resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Theo will show up looking for Summer, but Abby will say that she was there, but left, and Theo will try calling her with no luck. Theo will then overhear Abby and Nate arguing about Victor’s death ruse. He’ll offer to talk with Abby and lend an ear, but she’ll refuse.

Nate will then confront Amanda, saying she’s made things personal with Devon, but she’ll fire back that Devon is the one who made it personal, and she’ll jab him for lying for Victor.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Finds Comfort With Summer Newman

Next on Y&R, Kyle will chat with Summer at Crimson Lights. He’ll gripe about Billy wanting to hire Victoria and about Billy calling him a kid. Summer will listen and they’ll discuss Billy’s terrible judgment in the past. They’ll both feel like they deserve better than they’re getting and will bond over their similar situations. Across the way, Billy will agree to support Victoria when she doesn’t want to get caught up in his enthusiasm over her coming to Jabot.

At Society, Kyle will appear in the kitchen to see Lola. He’ll feel like he can deal with anything at work as long as has her.

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Y&R, Phyllis will sit down at a poker table with Adam and tell him to deal her in.
