Things are different now that Summer is Theo’s boss, at least in the marketing department of Jabot. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is still over both of them, but Theo has already put Summer in an awkward position by wanting to take her out on his expense account. Theo might have some influencing savvy, but it is crystal clear that he knows nothing about the business world or how to act in it.

He needs to learn that if they continue to have a personal relationship that they need to keep their business relationship separate from their personal relationship. That means no sex in the supply closet or on someone’s desk and the business comes ahead of the monkey business!

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman Will Think About Theo Vanderway And What He Might Be Like In The Future

Summer will learn some things about Theo in the office that she may never have outside of the office. She will think about his personality, his ways of going about things, and even though he’s a fun guy for the short term, what if things get serious between them? They are together in and out of work and thrown into each other’s path constantly. What might he be like in the future? What are his long-term goals as to where he might want to be in his life, in his career, say ten years down the road?

Summer may not be considering marriage to the guy, but now she has to look at him in a different way than she does as just someone to have fun with. Sometimes people who are fun don’t have any sense of responsibility, and when they do work, their paycheck goes into their partying and then when it’s gone they mooch on their friends when they can’t pay their bills! Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) father, Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) is a perfect example of the party boy who never grows up! Summer heard all about that latest fiasco from Kyle! What if Theo is the same way, and that’s what Kyle has been worried about concerning Theo?

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway’s Mantra Might Be “Fake It To Make It”

As witnessed by Theo making a motivational speech from trite sayings on motivational posters Kyle found on the internet, that may not necessarily be so bad, as long as he’s not doing the “Fake It To Make It” game all the time. Many people in marketing and sales will come up with any kind of spiel they can to push their products, and sometimes it works to pretend you’re behind a product you could care less about – like, it would be a little ridiculous for Theo to use the personal testimony business model for a lipstick, for instance.

That is the one where you believe in a product because you’ve used it yourself, and lipstick would not become Theo! Summer will take what Kyle has been warning about into consideration and also keep more of a mature eye on Theo as time goes on.
