While Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) don’t appear close to reforming, they surely are closer to each other than they’ve been in the last three years.

Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) traumatized many people at the Grand Phoenix a few weeks ago. His ill-fated attempt to shake money out of Chelsea resulted in Chadam being part of a hostage situation.

Connor was most affected because he’s a child. His mind is still scrambled by the aftereffects of what happened, creating a helpless feeling in Chelsea’s stomach.

As for Adam, he’s glad that Connor is living with him at the penthouse. Now, Chelsea has moved in as well, in what she termed a temporary situation. While Adam is fully focused on his son, Grossman’s calculating character also believes that his hope of reuniting Chadam could result through current circumstances playing out.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Shey Likely Prevents Conflict

Sharon was Adam’s love many years ago. But Chelsea has been ever since.

While it’s true that Adam and Sharon cavorted earlier this year, she did tell him that reviving Shadam wasn’t happening. Case’s character recently got back together with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), with Shey recapturing their own momentum.

Considering Sharon’s openly stated feelings and her relationship with Rey, Y&R fans likely feel that a Chadam reboot is Adam’s more likely option. But like Connor’s recovery, Adam has a ways to go before he realizes that goal.
