For several weeks now, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been calling and texting a mysterious person behind the scenes about his plans. No one knows for certain who he has been talking to, although there has been speculation that it’s Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). So far this hasn’t been confirmed.

Phyllis herself has been getting a little too close to Adam. After getting into a car crash with him, both Adam and Phyllis decided that they needed to work together in order to bring a few of their enemies down in Genoa City. Both have been looking for payback for a very long time. Adam even told Phyllis that they will never get the respect that they deserve and that the city is full of pariahs who do more damage than good.

But here’s the thing: both Phyllis and Adam have been trying to get something out of each other. Both are considered to be master manipulators. Well, it looked like Adam managed to get the upper hand in this situation, while Phyllis might have been just a little too trusting.
