Chelsea deserves Nick’s full support during this critical time in her son’s life. Connor is suffering severe mental anguish as a result of the series of unfortunate events that have been written into the script since last summer.

Being a caring mother, Chelsea wants to ease her son’s pain. She and Adam have already taken extreme measures, which includes living together as a family.

If Nick can simply restrain himself, he could come out ahead. Adam’s many past instances of insincerity could easily play out again, which would reinforce Nick as the more stable spouse option.

Adam actually isn’t being manipulative in this particular situation. He’s truly acting as any good father would.

While she is taking courses in psychology, will have her degree soon, and most importantly, is a mother, Sharon is not qualified to be issuing a diagnosis, or suggesting a course of treatment.

The circumstances that exist have technically brought Chelsea and Adam back together. The developing challenges they face as Connor’s parents may well allow them to continue interacting for a while, which also increases the potential for them to bond romantically.

The person Chelsea cares for the most in this world is Connor. His needs come first, not Nick’s, or Adam’s.

An end to Chick won’t necessarily be connected to or followed by Chadam’s revival. But there’s no doubt that Adam remains her greatest love. Connor’s rebound and that backstory point could mean his parents get back together as well.
