The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, December 30: Chloe’s Pregnancy Surprise – Nikki Finds Baby Girl – Connor’s Kitten Crisis

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 30, tease that some shocking discoveries are on the way. At Society, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) find a giant sack of presents. Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) helps them investigate and determines that there’s a Newman Enterprises label.

As Mariah and Tessa prepare to head over to the ranch, they discuss Theo seemingly being alone on Christmas. Tessa convinces Mariah to invite Theo to come with them, but Theo turns them down. He notes that he’s got plans and will celebrate in style. After Tessa and Mariah exit, Theo looks gloomy.

Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) comes in wearing riding gear. She’s stunned over the baby girl she found out at the stables. After Nikki brings Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) up to speed, he thinks they should contact Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

At the hospital, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) continues to debate the topic of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with Nate. He thinks they’ll have to agree to disagree. After receiving Victor’s call, Nate urges Elena to come with him to the ranch. He could use her help with the latest drama.

Once Nate and Elena arrive, they speak with Nikki and Victor about the baby. There are no signs of neglect, so Nikki wants to locate the mom. After a woman’s found on the Newman property, Victor takes a call and wants her brought in. Nikki reassures this woman, whose name is Sasha, so Sasha spills the story of living in an abandoned car with little Joy. She couldn’t work because of health issues and there’s no father in the picture.

Sasha confesses that she figured Joy would be better off if she left her, but she changed her mind and was coming back for her. Nikki and Victor talk to Sasha about getting her into the New Hope housing project. Afterward, Tessa and Mariah show up with the gift sack. Victor tells them that the presents were supposed to go to the pediatric wing of the hospital, so the girls vow to take them there. Tessa suggests maybe they should ask Theo to come, but Mariah reminds her that Theo claimed to have plans.

Elena gives Sasha her phone number in case she ever needs anything. Sasha now has faith that there are good people in the world. As for Nate and Elena, they’re on the same page about eliminating this Amanda awkwardness between them. Nikki and Victor feel very lucky on this special holiday, so they share a kiss and wish each other a merry Christmas.

At the penthouse, Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) about a kitten that was found in the park. The poor little guy’s freezing and hasn’t woken up. Connor names the cat “Oliver” and is adamant that he can’t die. He gets reassurance from his parents before going into the kitchen for some milk. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) can tell Connor’s already attached to the kitten. They fret about what they’ll do if the cat doesn’t wake up, but Oliver thankfully does.

Connor notes that he wants to donate his allowance to help sick animals in need. Once he scampers off, Chelsea’s glad to see this side of Connor. He’s not the same kid who locked Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) in the garage. Adam praises Chelsea for helping their son, and she’s happy she stuck around. They make plans to take Oliver to the vet and Adam welcomes him to the family.

At Society again, Theo’s by himself drinking eggnog. Over at Crimson Lights, “Santa” aka Frank isn’t having a great Christmas either. He enjoys all the holiday prep, but he’s sad when it’s over and everyone moves on. After Kevin steps away, Chloe learns “Santa” is divorced and doesn’t have children. He assumes that’s why he loves seeing the kids at Christmas, and Chloe can understand his loneliness.

Kevin returns with a bunch of kiddos who are eager to see Santa. He also points out that Frank could do some volunteering at the children’s center. Once they’re alone, Chloe admits she’s got one last gift for Kevin. She hands over baby shoes, so he realizes Chloe’s pregnant. An ecstatic Kevin gives Chloe a big kiss and announces their baby news to the other patrons.
