The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle’s Abbot New Position Puts Him In Summer’s Orbit

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be back in Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) sphere now that he’s become the interim Chief Executive Officer at Jabot.

Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) surprise request has Kyle unexpectedly assuming top job duties at the family cosmetics business. In addition to the merger with Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) My Beauty company, Kyle will also need to deal with a return to regular interaction with Summer in the workplace.

Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) doesn’t see Summer as a threat and also remains truly grateful for the half-liver gift. Kyle is far more the worry bones about his ex-wife than Lola is, which is revealing and also problematic.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Summer Opts For Less Contact

Earlier this summer, Summer asked Jack to split Kyle from her at work. He agreed for personal and business reasons. Kyle wasn’t pleased at the time, but Summer knew what she was doing.

In attempting to move on from the guy she thought she loved, Summer was hoping to ease tension. That happened and Kola moved forward with their just realized wedding.

King’s character has mostly reverted to what was once Summer’s normal state. A young lady who is finding her way in life, rather than the harsh edition of the alter ego that was invented upon King’s return to the cast more than a year ago.

Y&R Spoilers – Married Man Must Remain Focused

Kyle is serious about having moved past whoever he was during the New York years, when he and his now enemy, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), behaved like arrogant goofs. Kyle also believes he’s dealt with Syle and all of the messy emotional issues that were intertwined with his brief marriage to Summer.

Lola is the love of Kyle’s life, which was impossible for Summer to initially accept. While she still isn’t fully at peace with Kola, Summer has established a legit truce with Lola and with Kyle.

The challenge for Kyle now is maintaining focus on his personal life while also running Jabot as his dad expects. Being in Summer’s sphere increases the possibility that Kyle could veer off-track.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Factor Matters

There’s no doubt that Theo is addicted to trouble. He sees it as a sport, with the feelings of other human beings something to exploit rather than to care about. Such is the no empathy lifestyle.

Theo’s social media-related career appears to be purely a front. He hides behind his digital device, riling others lives and even his own. No actual future plan, with an intentionally reckless path pursued.

Kyle is now fully aware of Theo’s personality flaws and continues to issue unheeded warnings to his unfriended acquaintance. Theo refuses to take Kyle seriously and has remained tied to Summer as part of an overall mind game that seems set to enter the next level.
