The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, December 27: Dina’s Heartwarming Holiday – Fen Comes Home – Billy Fights Temptation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 27, tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will welcome a loved one home. At Crimson Lights, Michael speaks with Lauren about the Abbott gathering they’ll attend later. Lauren’s blue about Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) not being in town for the holidays, but his surprise arrival leaves her over the moon.

Fen embraces his parents and brings them up to speed on the halfway house he’s now living in. He’s apologetic about letting Michael and Lauren down, but they’re proud of their son for focusing on his recovery. Meanwhile, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) talks to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about the restaurant being too overwhelming for Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). They also chuckle over Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) feud.

At Society, Lola jokes around with Kyle before they share a kiss. She brings up how Theo made other plans for the evening, so Kyle wonders how she’s in the loop. Lola admits they’ve been texting, but she wants Kyle to concentrate on showing Theo some sympathy. Theo’s all alone for Christmas this year.

At home, Billy Abbott (Jason Thomson) is anxious to finish a work deal. He sends Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) a text about being in Genoa City overnight, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) interrupts to drag Billy to dinner. Billy puts up a fight, but he eventually agrees to join the rest of the family.

After Billy turns his attention back to his phone, he sees that Amanda wants to get some Thai food. Billy calls Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to leave a voicemail and texts Amanda about playing cards later. Back at Society, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) catches up with Ashley. Abby’s eager to share how she dealt with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and adds that “Chance” Chancellor (Donny Boaz) helped.

Traci is also on hand before Jack walks in and fills them in about Billy. Kyle’s willing to reach out to Theo, but Jack doesn’t think it’s wise to pressure him. Ashley frets about Billy’s imminent arrival and suggests she may have been the reason he left Jabot. Jack assures Ashley that’s not the case before the Baldwin family shows up. Lauren ends up talking to Ashley while Jack and Michael chat. That leaves Fen to extend some words of congratulations to married Kyle and Lola.

Billy looks pensive as he gazes at the gang from outside. He ultimately makes his way inside with an apology for being late. Billy’s impressed with Fen completing rehab, which leads Fen to talk about how he just couldn’t trust himself anymore. His comments appear to be something Billy can relate to. Jack proposes a toast, and Traci later gives out copies of her new novel as presents.

Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Newman Looks At Amanda Sinclair’s Message

As for Billy, he wraps up the deal he was working on and looks at another text from Amanda. Billy ends up at home, where he calls Victoria and once again looks at Amanda’s message. Once he’s mulled over his options, Billy decides to stay put and play solitaire.

Back with Ashley, she hears about Abby’s interest in Chance before they head back to the Abbott mansion. Jack, Traci, Ashley and Abby are all pleased to welcome Dina, who’s excited about all the gifts she has. Afterward, Jack reads ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas before Traci sings O Come, All Ye Faithful. The Abbotts are moved when Dina remembers the words, and they all sing it together.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Fen Gives A Touching Gift

Over with Michael and Lauren, they’re also touched by Fen’s gift this year. He offers a compass since his parents always guide him. Fen’s thankful that Lauren and Michael saved his life. At Kyle and Lola’s apartment, they reflect on their history of gifts that cause drama. Luckily, there’s no drama when Kyle gives a restaurant book along with a voucher. Lola offers a picture frame with a photo of Idaho under the stars – including their star. She reveals that she’s reserved a cabin for them to stay in.
