The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, August 2: Victor Nearly Collapses – Nick Threatens Adam – Billy Seeks Therapy

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 2, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be in a good mood as he’s going to see Christian Newman (Jamie and Alister Tobias) later. Summer Newman (Hunter King) will notice his mood, and they’ll discuss Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Summer will be worried about Chelsea hurting him. They’ll discuss Nick’s partnership with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) on “New Hope” and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) agenda with Adam.

Young and the Restless Spoiler – Billy Abbott Sees A Shrink

Next on Y&R, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will see a therapist. Billy will explain how he doesn’t want to sleep due to the upsetting dreams he has been having about Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). He’ll recount the accident and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) actions, and he’ll discuss the rage he feels toward Adam.

His therapist will suggest that perhaps by holding onto the grief, Billy is keeping Delia alive and justifying the hatred he feels toward Adam over something that was an accident. Billy will think that if he lets go of the guilt and the pain, he’d be dishonoring Delia. The therapist will suggest that Billy doesn’t like himself, which Billy will balk at.

Later, Billy will arrive home to find Delia’s doll in his bed.

Y&R Spoiler – Victor Newman Suggests That Adam Newman Play By The Rules

Next on Y&R, Adam will arrive at Newman Enterprises and talk with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The men will banter about how Adam was supposed to run the family business, and they’ll discuss the custody case. Victor will suggest that Adam try to earn his way into Christian’s life with Nick, but Adam will say that he refuses to jump through hoops.

Young and the Restless Spoiler – Adam Newman Blasts Victoria Newman About Keeping Him From Christian Newman

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will run into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Victoria will let Sharon know that Billy has sought professional help for his problems. Adam will show up and needle Victoria about avoiding him to keep him from Christian, and about playing dirty with Phyllis.

After Victoria leaves, Adam will tell Sharon that he’s getting nowhere by playing by the rules, and that he wants to tell Christian that he’s his biological father. Sharon will think this is a bad idea and that he should get to know his son as “Uncle Adam.” Adam will muse about her ability to talk him down before asking about Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and heading off to the park.

Y&R Spoiler – Summer Newman and Phyllis Summers Make Amends

Next on Y&R, at Dark Horse, Phyllis will get a visit from Summer. Summer will tell her mom that she knows about what she did, and Phyllis will try to act modest about it, but Summer will call out her false modesty. They’ll end up hugging and Summer will wonder why Phyllis can’t do something good without managing or manipulating it. Phyllis will own being a drama queen, and they’ll hug again.

Young and the Restless Spoiler – Victor Newman  Calls Jack Abbott After He Almost Collapses

At Jabot, Victor will arrive looking for Summer, much to Jack’s surprise. The men will banter a bit, then Summer will arrive. Victor will spend a few moments with Summer telling her about his disease and course of treatment, upsetting her.

Later, in the Jabot parking garage, Victor will become dizzy and nearly collapse. He’ll try to call Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but when he gets Nate’s voicemail, he’ll call Jack for help. Back in Jack’s office, Victor will explain that he’s on new medication that has severe side effects. Nate will then arrive and examine Victor, and he’ll find that Victor’s blood pressure was low.

Y&R Spoiler – Nick Newman Threatens Adam Newman

Next on Y&R, Victoria and Christian will meet up with Nick for a visit. Nick will be overjoyed to see his boy, and Christian will want to go home with Nick. Then Adam will materialize and needle Victoria while taking pictures of the scene to be able to prove that Nick is getting special treatment. After Victoria and Christian leave, Adam and Nick will argue.

Each will think that the other is cruel and selfish, and Nick will call Adam a sociopath. Nick will vow to destroy Adam until he has nothing left – not Christian, and not Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Adam will say that he loves the game.
