The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, August 16: Lola’s Dad Shows Up At The Wedding – Kola Get Married Not Knowing He’s There

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 16, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will ignore a call from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) as he’s at Crimson Lights. Theo will then text Kyle, saying that it’s the end of the world as he knows it, and does he have any last wishes.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will talk over coffee. Summer will make her intentions to attend Kyle and Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) wedding known, even though her mom thinks it’s not the best idea. Summer will offer to take Phyllis to the wedding with her, and Phyllis will agree.

Next on Y&R, at Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house, she’ll speak to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) by phone and let him know that all is a go for his next supervised visit with Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Meanwhile, Billy will flash back to Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) doll. Victoria will notice that he’s out of it and wonder if he’s ok, and he’ll respond that he’s never been better.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Gets Pre-Wedding Jitters

At the Abbott estate, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be discussing family matters when Kyle enters and announces that there’s a problem. He’ll be having clear pre-wedding jitters, and he’ll go on about how divorce seems to happen all the time in the family, and how Lola deserves a forever love. Traci and Ashley will reassure him and talk him down as they give him marriage advice, culminating in a group hug.

Next on Y&R, in the bride’s dressing room, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will help Lola prepare for the wedding. Lola will be happy to have three best friends, and she’ll hope that they’re all still together years down the road when she and Kyle are an old couple.

Mariah, Tessa, and Abby will give Lola something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue before group hugging. Then Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will arrive and they’ll share some nice brother/sister moments together. Lola will say that Rey has given her courage and confidence, and she’ll chide him about being overprotective. They’ll hug and enjoy their moments together.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Celeste Rosales Comes To The Wedding

Next on Y&R, as everyone is arriving for the ceremony, Lola will be shocked to see Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) arrive in her dressing room. Celeste will apologize to her daughter for planning to stay away from the wedding. She’ll tell Lola how happy she is that Lola found a man who adores her so much. Abby will then walk in and be happy to see Celeste as well. Lola will ask her mom to walk her down the aisle along with Rey.

Finally, on Friday’s new episode of Y&R. Kyle and Lola’s wedding ceremony will begin. Rey and Celeste will happily walk Lola down the aisle. Celeste will then notice someone hovering nearby, and when she goes to investigate, she’ll see that it’s Lola and Rey’s father, Adrian Rosales. She’ll tell him that he has a lot of nerve showing up at the wedding, and he’ll reply that he wouldn’t miss it.

Ultimately, Celeste will ask Adrian not to ruin Lola’s day, and she’ll return to the ceremony. The ceremony will continue as normal, with Kyle and Lola exchanging vows and rings. Finally, they’ll be pronounced husband and wife and the happy couple will kiss, not realizing that Adrian is present.
