The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Elena’s Concerns About Amanda Rise – Devon Remains Suspicious

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was right to be concerned about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. And that was before she read the dossier that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) received from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Devon was perusing the extensive amount of information that Victor’s private investigators dug up on Amanda when Elena entered their penthouse living room. He put the folder away, with Sarpy’s unsettled character noticing the location. She was disturbed by the information, which caused her concern level to rise.

Based on the contents of that folder and her developing hunch, Elena sees Amanda as a complex person who could be dangerous. Fans, along with Sarpy’s character, are now aware that Amanda was previously involved with a guy who issued a restraining order against her and vice versa. That seems to answer the question as to who Amanda was recently tracking on her laptop computer.

Devon doesn’t even want to consider the backstory plot point, but Amanda doesn’t seem to have been working with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). Like everyone, including Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), Amanda was likely duped by the person she once referred to as the “old jerk”.

Being that she seems to have been an established attorney in Madison, Wisconsin, Amanda seemingly had a good practice for a number of years. Colin somehow learned she existed and looks exactly like Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial role on the show), thus the exploitation play.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Rightfully Outraged

Devon continues to point the finger at Amanda. He’s doing that not only because he’s choosing to believe she’s a charlatan, but also because of another factor.

Colin managed to escape law enforcement and is on the run. So, Devon isn’t able to use his remaining resources to seek legal and personal retribution against the main source of his troubles.

Cane isn’t Devon’s favorite person, but does seem to have cleared his name and is currently trying to track down his father and the stolen inheritance. Y&R fans know that Goddard’s longtime character has been written out. But hopefully Goddard at least recurs in the near future, or returns full-time to the cast.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson’s Deepening Bond Worth Watching

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is a good friend. He’s been there for Amanda whenever she’s needed him and has also taken her under his wing at Genoa City Memorial Hospital.

‘Delena’ appears to be, or already is in trouble. The interpersonal tension caused by the will hoax has strained this relationship.

Telegraphing Devon and Amanda, with Elena rebounding to Nate is easy. But good soap doesn’t play out that simply. Even if those couples form, plenty of engaging storyline will take place in the meantime on Y&R.
