The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Elena Dawson, (Brytni Sarpy) after giving Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) a chance, and the benefit of the doubt, will make a final decision about her in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Had A Sit Down With Amanda Sinclair Recently

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Elena had a sit-down with Amanda recently and had decided after getting to know her a little, keeping an open mind, that maybe she wasn’t that bad after all, and she wasn’t so concerned about her being a danger.

She believed her, as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had, that Amanda too, had been taken in by Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) when she was hired to challenge Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will. Devon Hamilton, (Bryton James) however, was still suspicious of Amanda and couldn’t believe that Elena would support Amanda or believe a word she said, and in fact, took it as an affront! He and Elena had rather much of a lover’s quarrel over it!

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Was Suspcious Of Amanda Sinclair And Had His People Investigate Her

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was suspicious of Amanda as well, and had his people investigate her and he brought Devon a dossier on her in a recent Y & R episode. He and Devon both saw something shady going on with Amanda attempting to erase her existence from the internet, even though it seems that she may be running from an abusive ex and that is the reason for her actions.

Devon made some calls after receiving the dossier and found out that she had a fiancé named Ripley Turner, and that the two had each taken out restraining orders on the other. Elena, of course, knows nothing about this at this point, although Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) had deduced from Amanda’s fear of being locked in her suite at the Grand Phoenix during the hostage crisis that someone had locked her up and treated her terribly! She has told Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) she grew up an orphan and grew up in foster homes, but he hasn’t told anyone else and will keep her secrets. These facts apparently are not in the dossier that Victor brought Devon, or both men would have some understanding that Amanda is afraid of and doesn’t want to be found by this Ripley Turner person.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Snoops In Devon Hamilton’s Desk And Finds The Dossier

Elena Dawson knows that Devon isn’t telling her everything since she saw Devon putting a file in his desk drawer and closing it quickly as she is coming downstairs. This obviously doesn’t sit right with her, and feels something is in that file that he is hiding from her, and after he leaves she snoops in his desk and finds the dossier. She looks through it and she realizes that Amanda is hiding something, but so is Devon!

But she does realize that Devon’s deception has been because he didn’t want to upset her, and she goes to Crimson Lights where she runs into Nate. The subject of Amanda comes up between them, and all of a sudden Elena does a 180 again on Amanda and Nate defends her. She tells him that she has found out some information on her that caused her to change her mind but won’t tell Nate what it is! She then has to decide whether to tell Devon she snooped in his desk and found the dossier or not!
