The question is, why will Chelsea and Adam have to save Connor’s Christmas? What might happen to spoil it? There may not be anything spoiling it at all, but Connor might pretend there is, and have his parents scrambling to make sure his Christmas is a happy one!

The best Christmas present of all for Connor would be for his parents to become a real couple again, and that might just be what he tells them he wants. He wants Mommy and Daddy to make things permanent between them and things to be like when they all lived on the farm together when he was little – well, “littler”! Y&R Spoilers – Daddy Adam Newman Wants To Make Things Permanent Too

As The Young and The Restless viewers will recall, Adam wants to make things permanent too – he tried to get Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to seduce Nick away from Chelsea, and Phyllis thought he’d lost his mind! She refused to be his minion even though she and Nick have been talking a lot lately and having fun playing computer games with one another. They both know every time they get together it always goes wrong between them regardless of how hard they try, so a relationship or marriage between the two of them would truly be the definition of insanity!

The thing that broke up Adam and Chelsea was Adam’s return to his ex-wife, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who at that time was mentally ill and needed to go into serious therapy. It turned out that she was manic depressive, also referred to as bipolar disorder.

Now Sharon is a “wounded healer”, someone who wants to help people going through the things she did which is why she has gone into therapy, including treating Connor! Then some time later Adam crashed over the side of a cliff, and the car caught on fire and melted the ice on the river it landed on and sunk in the river. Adam was declared dead since no body was retrieved. Adam stayed gone for several years, having decided to fake his death.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Again Left Town After Connor Newman Bonded To Him

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Adam again left town after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) faked his death to teach him a lesson; Adam felt he would do nothing but make things worse for Connor and said his goodbyes, after which Connor started having emotional and behavioral problems and Nick went to Las Vegas and brought Adam back at the behest of Chelsea for Connor’s sake. Now Connor wants his parents to be with him together forever – will a remarriage be how they save Christmas for Connor? Viewers will need to tune in to find out!
