The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that it will be brother against nephew as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fights Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for the corner office at Jabot on Tuesday’s The Young and The Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Stepped Away For A Bit To Write A Family Book With Sister Traci Abbott

As viewers will recall, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) stepped away a bit from the day-to-day operations of Jabot so he could focus on writing a book about the Abbott family with sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). He had decided to let his younger brother Billy and his son Kyle run Jabot together, as a team, while he is away from the office. Both men had experience enough to handle the job, Billy having run a company with his wife Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle having run it in his dad’s place when he went on his trip to Sedona. Both are competent, but it looks like maybe they don’t quite either have the concept of teamwork down in the manner that Jack expects!

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Starts The Fight Over The Corner Office

The corner office of course is the CEO’s office, in other words, Jack’s office. It appears that Billy will start this fight since at the end of their recent meeting when Jack announced his plans to Billy and Kyle, Billy wondered out loud who was getting the CEO office! On the other hand, Kyle was anxious to take over as his father’s right hand man, so when he was told that was not going to happen, at least not for the time being, he may have been offended, although he didn’t show it at the time, obviously with his dad still there. But after Jack leaves and walks out of the office, that might be another story entirely! Kyle might pick up and answer Billy’s question about the corner office and tell him that he would get it because his dad had planned to make him his right hand man! Billy won’t like it, because he is older and is Jack’s brother – well, half-brother. Jack’s mother is Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) and Billy’s mother is Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Will Offer Victoria Newman A Job At Jabot

Other Y & R spoilers tease that after Victoria has a falling out with her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Billy will offer her a job at Jabot – and maybe without consulting either Kyle or Jack first! Now the pendulum swings back to it looking like Billy may be the one who starts the fight for the office! If he feels it is okay for him to arbitrarily hire Victoria without consulting anyone else, that shows he probably feels that he is “large and in charge” more than Kyle is, and more than Kyle should be!

The name of Billy and Victoria’s former company was “Brash and Sassy” and it sounds like Billy was the “Brash” to Victoria’s “Sassy” and it takes some brash family jewels indeed to assume that he is more in charge than Kyle is when Jack’s plan was for the two to run Jabot as equal partners with equal responsibilities! A screen shot from the episode shows this confrontation might take place right there in the hallway while Billy has either a client or another Jabot employee with him!
