The sudser teased, “Zoe shares a surprising past with a member of Genoa City’s jet set.” When the news broke out that she’s set to appear on the show, Barlow immediately took to Instagram to say her thanks and express her excitement.

“Thank you to everyone at Y&R and CBS Daytime. This is a dream!” she said. Barlow may look familiar to some viewers as she as appeared on various shows like “The Fosters” as Zoe and “Scream Queens” as Bethany. She also guest-starred on “Castle,” “Bones,” “Major Crimes,” and “Lucifer.”

Some viewers think that Zoe has some sort of connection with Kyle (Michael Mealor) since Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) has already started digging into his past. Also, Kyle is keeping a secret, which he wants Theo to keep, too. But knowing the latter, viewers already have an idea that he won’t be able to keep his mouth shut.

The news of Barlow’s new gig on “The Young and the Restless” came at the heels of Loren Lott’s announcement that she is no longer with the show as the portrayer of Ana Hamilton. Her exit storyline was when her character left to be with her dad who is suffering a health problem.
