The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is now connected to another prominent family. After legally fronting the currently successful challenge to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) inheritance received through Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), Morgan’s new character is hoping to work with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to help her next client, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

It would seem impossible that someone would look exactly like Devon’s beloved, late wife. But is was shocking to realize that Amanda was also the person Chance Chancellor (as last played by John Driscoll) tapped to pursue the questioning of Katherine’s final requests.

The “old jerk” that Amanda recently and inadvertently mentioned would seem to be more than a go-between. Whoever that person is should help to solve the mystery of Amanda’s identity and longterm importance in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hilary Hamilton Likely In Heaven

It would be fair to suggest that the repentant Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial character on Y&R) likely went to heaven after she passed away last year. The accident she was unfortunately involved in took the life of Hevon’s unborn child and then, days later, her own.

Hilary was fully sincere in making amends with various people who she’d been in conflict with before she died. So, it could be reasonably asserted that the pearly gates opened, if just slightly, to allow her access to eternal bliss in 2018.

Y&R Spoilers – Dramatic Backstory Potential Seen

As hardcore viewers recall, Ann Turner was Hilary’s real name. Little is known about her mother, Rose Turner (Leslie Stevens). That character was deceased and only shown in flashbacks with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), as Ann’s storyline was playing out during Morgan’s early days on the show.

The backstory of any new character is often unknown, as is the case with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), who was actually Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) grandson and therefore, Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) cousin all along.

The drama linked to Amanda’s backstory was evident from the moment every connected GC persona saw her. All reacted with stunned surprise, with the identical nature of Amanda’s physical appearance and of course, her voice, syncing to Hilary’s.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Nosing Around

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has remained on top of the corporate world partially because he purposely noses into other people’s personal business. The same is playing out now, as he’s asked for a check into Amanda’s background due to her representation of Nate.

In all likelihood Victor wasn’t the “old jerk” she referenced. That person could be revealed as Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), or another past alter ego that would have a real, or perceived line on Katherine’s wealth.

However Amanda’s mystery is solved, it’s sure to be compelling. Her importance is quickly evolving, whether, or not she proves out as Hilary’s unknown twin sister.
