As many The Young and the Restless fans already know, Abby has been down on her luck this year in regards to her love life. She was engaged to the handsome but untrustworthy Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela). That engagement ended the moment that Abby found out Arturo was expecting a baby with his sister-in-law, Mia. After that, she got up close and personal with the hot doctor in town, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). But Abby’s trust issues made that relationship go down the toilet pretty quickly, too.

The Young and the Restless spoilers now tease that Abby will give love a ‘chance’ and by that, we mean Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Chance is certainly different than any guy that Abby has dated before.

Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview actress Melissa Ordway said, “He has an adventurous life. He’s always out saving the world. There could be secrets that he could keep from Abby, and that could lead to problems and heartbreak.”

But with that said, Melissa is staying positive that her on-screen character will finally be able to fall in love with a decent man who won’t disappoint her or leave her heartbroken and devastated at the end of the day. She added, “I’m hopeful though that Abby’s finally found someone who can handle her and her family. I’m excited to see where this relationship will go.”
