The Young And The Restless News: Sharon Case Celebrates 25 Years On Y&R

The famous actress of The Young and The Restless, Sharon Case, celebrated an unforgettable milestone which is her 25th anniversary on CBS soap opera. She commemorates the past when she started the role of the wholesome Sharon Collins Newman back in September 1994 where women across the country were wearing baby-doll dresses or oversized clothing.

In an interview by the Soaps In Depth, the very famous actress Sharon said, “It’s really hard to believe how much time has passed.”

Case admitted that she had hoped that her character would stick around although in soaps, it’s really hard to know what to expect.

“Especially at that age, you don’t know what you’re doing or where things will be heading. Having hindsight on your life is always amazing,” she added. She expressed her disbelief that everything has gone so well for her career on Y&R. I’ve been lucky to be here all these years. It’s been a really, really great ride!” she continued.

In a post to her Twitter account, she mentioned a special thanks to Bell Family, Steve Kent Sony, CBS Daytime, Soap Digest, Soaps In Depth, and Michael Fairman. She also received congratulatory messages from her co-stars in the soap opera which prove why everybody loves her personality.

Camryn Grimes, who plays as Sharon’s on-screen daughter Mariah Copeland, said, “My relationship with Sharon was unique from the moment we first met, but I wouldn’t understand the full circle benefit of our connection until I got to know her as an adult.”

“She is all parts badass, big sister, travel guru, and no-nonsense conversationalist. I’ll never be able to thank Sharon for the endless sage advice and wisdom, and I hope that one day I’ll grow to be just as confident and powerful of a woman as she is!.”

Another one actress, Amelia Heinle (Victoria), said, “Sharon Case is such a fun person to be around. She has a joyful spirit and a huge appetite for adventure. She is patient and kind to her fellow actors and when someone is new, she always makes them feel welcome. She is also beautiful inside and out.”

Before Sharon Case handled the role of Sharon Newman back in 1994, the character was played by two other actresses, Monica Potter and Heidi Mark.
