Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) felt that something was off on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. When asked by his dad, brother, and Justin Barber (Aaron Spears) why he hadn’t made his engagement to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) official, Brooks’ character averted eye contact and hesitated.

Sally’s later appearance in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office proved to be a double-edged sword. Again based on the gathered crowd’s prompting, Wyatt felt compelled to discuss the open-ended matter with his apparent fiance.

Then Sally did something the audience and she didn’t expect. Calling Wyatt by his brother’s name is something that hardcore fans understood. Wyatt believes he knows why she mislabeled him as well.

Devoted viewers recall that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Sally were once trapped in a building that Bill was going to demolish. That happened more than two years ago this fall on B&B.

The dramatic sequence was well written, as the peril both characters faced was real. It came during a period in storyline time when Liam was at odds with his father and was defending Sally, who Clifton’s character felt was wronged by ‘Dollar Bill’.

Believing the were both going to die under the rubble, Sally kissed Liam. His return kiss, even considering the circumstances, was stunning.

B&B Spoilers – Old Emotions And Even Older Grudges

As viewers recall, Bill bought the building Spectra Fashions was using. He ordered the location demolished, which also helped to push Thomas Forrester (as then played by Pierson Fode), who was designing for Spectra, out of Los Angeles, California.

Scant reference has been made to Sally’s latent feelings for Liam within the last year-plus. She was smitten with him after her break from Thomas. Fode’s cast exit facilitated his character going to live with Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) and their son, Douglas Forrester (as now played by Henry Joseph Samiri), in New York.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Wally Stopped, Or Simply Delayed?

Hearing his brother’s name wasn’t actually shocking. Wyatt wasn’t certain why he felt hesitation from Sally within their relationship, but calling him Liam surely jarred a repressed feeling in both people’s minds.

An instant analysis would tag Sally as using Wyatt as a second-choice replacement for Liam all along. Sally also hasn’t forgotten Wyatt’s previous slice of ‘Wally’ after he learned that she withheld what Thomas (as then played by Matthew Atkinson) told her about his plans to break up ‘Lope’.

Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) isn’t out of the picture either. Wyatt’s longtime love is about to be seen regularly again, as Bowden’s movie shoot has wrapped. That plot point, more so than Sally’s slip, will likely help determine ‘Wally’s’ fate.
