‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas Changes Course In Pursuit For Hope But Walks Straight Into A Trap

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) still believes that he’s still smarter than everyone. Rather then continuing similar efforts, he’s opting to change course in his ongoing pursuit of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), believing that no one will be able to recognize, or uncover what’s developing.

Noelle’s character remains understandably on edge because of all Thomas did to her and others this year. That’s why she mistook the candlelight dinner setting in his office at Forrester Creations as intended for her benefit. Then, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) walked in and reality seemed to shift. But viewers know that it didn’t.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Adapted Mind Games Being Countered

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has been onto Thomas. He’s Beth Spencer’s (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) parent as well. Along with that, Liam is also protective of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), their child, Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney), and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), who Hope just adopted.

Countering Thomas latest mind game should provide protection and possibly even help to disrupt, or stop the efforts Atkinson’s character is making. However, Liam is purely acting on instinct, not even realizing that Thomas is actually up to something.

B&B Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Central To Story

Zoe was a secondary player during one of the earlier chapters in this arc. Her father, Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), instigated the entire private adoption scenario that served to upset numerous lives in this fictional version of Los Angeles, California.

Later, after Thomas forced Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) to acknowledge what she knew and what her role was in the Beth debacle, Zoe was among a group of people he threatened to stay silent about the matter. Her sudden reappearance outside Vincent Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) apartment this fall reestablished Zoe’s place within the evolving storyline. Now, as B&B fans see, Barnes’ role has also been elevated.

Writing Zoe into Thomas’ plans to play hard to get is intriguing. She’s smart, knows all about Thomas’ manipulative talents, and likely won’t take kindly to being used by him when Zoe realizes what’s happening.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thope An Unrealistic Goal?

Hope’s hidden goal is to become Douglas’ sole legal parent. In order to accomplish that status, she’s hoping to eventually seek full custody.

But there appears to be an opening for Thomas in the current plot. Unlike Steffy and Zoe, Hope hasn’t been clued into what’s going on.

If Liam withholds the full details of his plan from the woman he claims to love, Hope will feel betrayed and possibly also come to see Atkinson’s character in a more sympathetic light. With that anything becomes possible, or so Thomas still believes.
