‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas Carefully Plotting Next Move – Doesn’t Recognize His Challenges

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) next move, following the start of his romance with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), must be smooth. If he’s careful, no one will be able to prove, or confirm that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) remains his clear one and only.

B&B fans were disturbed to see that Hope was so quickly convinced Thomas’ wasn’t flirting with her in the Forrester Creations’ offices. But he was convincing, as he talked around brushing against her hand while analyzing one of his latest sketches.

While he doesn’t seem to realize it, Thomas is actually creating a new problem for himself. Atkinson’s character believes he’s going to romance Zoe, with the intent of throwing Hope and everyone else off. But toying with the emotions of someone who has a previous history of mental fragility is dangerous.

Thomas rarely, if ever, displays empathy. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was trying to tell Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that his son demonstrates psychopathic traits. He dismissed his almost ex-wife’s suggestion as ridiculous.

Brooke isn’t wrong in thinking that Thomas is a danger to others. Her point is also one that viewers understand better than every affected character, as fans are allowed to see inside the unsettled mind of Atkinson’s outstandingly played alter ego.

B&B Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Won’t Respond Well To Reveal

An inevitable reveal seems certain to take place at some plot point. Unless Zoe is able to make a breakthrough with Thomas, he’s going to remain convinced that Hope will return to him eventually.

Assuming that Zoe continues to play his unwitting pawn, the longer this ruse is pushed, the fiercer her response will be. Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) already experienced the eerie realities that Zoe creates. Just imagine how Barnes equally unpredictable character will respond if she commits to Thomas emotionally and then discovers he’s been using her all along.

This is a likely projected climax within this part of the overall arc involving Thomas. Of course, B&B would surely propel Zoe’s shock to the maximum effect, with an intense response expected.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester And Liam Spencer Serve As Safeguards

Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) involvement with and approval of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) orchestrated spy operation will eventually spill out. Seasoned soap fans are also anticipating a cascading set of revelations, with Atkinson’s character likely becoming wise to Zoe’s double-agent status, his sister’s connection, and his nemesis’ (Liam) lead role in these soapy matters.

Thomas has managed to either stay one step ahead of everyone, or wiggle out of any real consequences for all he’s done to-date. The audience must also prepare for a twist on that pattern as this storyline unfolds in 2020.
