A year ago Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), her married name at the time, was expecting. She and her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), had no idea that their ill-conceived babymoon was going to be disastrous, including months of tortuous times that followed and eventually ending with a stunning surprise.

Today, Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) is fine and so is her half-sister, Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Allison Marcia Sweeney). Now, Beth’s mom has embraced the responsibility of being a mother to a child that’s not her own.

While Hope’s intent is heartfelt and sincere, Liam wasn’t fully informed that one of the loves of his life, with the other being last years’ alternate head of the table host, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), was pursuing Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) adoption. Of course, last year at this time Douglas and his father, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), hadn’t been recast and Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) was still alive.

It was bittersweet to see Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her husband, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), sitting carefree, aside of each other in Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) master dining room.

Fans of ‘Bridge’ know this repeat story all too well. Brooke and Ridge have been together and apart many times. The current drama involves a character who was one of Quinn’s unknown friends as of last November. Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) and her daughter, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), have made quite the impact in LA. Regarding ‘Bridge’, Ridge just ended the marriage and officially accepted Shauna’s pursuit of him the next day.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Speaking Of Steffy Forrester

As hardcore fans recall, Steffy opted to be on her own as of summer 2018. By Thanksgiving of last year she was okay with ‘Lope’ and their expected child because Liam and Hope were literally told by Steffy to get back together and marry.

Steffy is still on her own today and she has occasionally acknowledged that getting back together with Liam would make her life with Kelly better. But for the moment Wood’s character is involved with her dad’s drama and Thomas’ ongoing fixation with Hope.
