In an interview with CBS Soaps in Depth, Denise Richards discussed her character. As fans know, Shauna is trying to get her hands on Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), who is currently married to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

The actress hinted that fans could expect Shauna to get involved in more troublemaking in the future. However, at the same time, Richards doesn’t view Shauna as being malicious.

The only person that she doesn’t want Shauna to cross is Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).

As for what drives Shauna, many fans think it is money. However, Denise suggested that she simply got caught up in a new lifestyle.

“Imagine what that must be like, not coming from a lot of money and then all of a sudden being around the fame and the lavish lifestyle of these people. She definitely gets caught up in it!”
