The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Threatens Divorce – Brooke Can’t Overlook Thomas Issue

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may open a door that can’t be closed. Just as Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) sought legal papers that intended to strip Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) of his legal rights, so too has her husband obtained documents that intend to use the law to resolve a personal matter.

Brooke and Ridge are one of B&B’s all-time couples. Along with that, of course, comes a history of drama.

Having an option in Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) seems to have sparked Ridge’s impulse to rush to divorce court. Brooke, on the other hand, hasn’t been involved with anyone during what has been a very trying period that extends back to the summer.

That’s called grace under pressure and loyalty, as Ridge should know. Although he has a point where Brooke’s push of her initial adoption strategy was concerned.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Forgets Destiny

Ridge has long spoken of Logan, his pet name for Brooke, as his destiny. Well, why isn’t he using the third noun option (person, place, or thing) now?

Choosing to believe that Brooke has no compassion for Thomas puts the total onus on her. That conveniently allows his son to escape ongoing scrutiny.

While it’s understandable that Ridge would be protective of Thomas, Kaye’s character has gone well beyond the pale in covering over outrageous decisions and criminal acts in this most recent round of bad behavior that his son has exhibited.

Ridge is clearly choosing not to use the more past, where other versions of Thomas did terrible things, as a guide. That’s purposeful, as it enables wishful thinking, rather than addressing the realities that Brooke has been trying to make her husband see and understand.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Practicing Tough Love

Brooke has actually been practicing a form of tough love with Ridge, just as she’s been doing with Thomas to a lesser extent. But her husband is blinded by the chaotic nature of current events and the cowardly crime Thomas was involved in on Mulholland Drive.

She wants Ridge to see that Thomas is an ongoing danger to himself and others. Brooke also wants to protect Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Is It Too Late To Forgive?

In getting divorce papers, Ridge projects his desire to drop the hammer and end this latest version of Bridge. Brooke’s response will prove telling, as she doesn’t want their marriage to end.

Brooke’s removal of her rings wasn’t the start of this event. Instead, Bridge’s break has played out slowly over time. But maybe it’s not too late to forgive.
