It is suggested that Liam might need Steffy’s help. Right now, Liam and Hope are hoping to get guardianship of Thomas’ son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). It would make things easier if they could avoid court and just have Thomas sign the papers.

It has already been a few days and Ridge hasn’t even approached Thomas with the guardianship papers. However, he probably already knows that there is no way Thomas will sign away the rights to his son. Perhaps Liam wonders if Steffy can reason with Thomas.

B&B Spoilers – How Will Thomas Forrester React?

Thomas is distracted with destroying lives right now, but that doesn’t mean he will give up his child. He views Douglas as property, something that belongs to him. It doesn’t matter about the trauma he has inflicted on the child, there is no way Thomas will ever willingly sign guardianship papers.

With this being said, there is no way to reason with Thomas in this matter. Ridge can talk to his son, but it won’t do any good. Steffy can try reaching her brother, but it won’t work. The only way that Liam and Hope will get Douglas is if a judge orders it, or if Thomas dies.

Another issue with this storyline is how this could affect Liam and Steffy’s relationship. Although they are no longer together, they are civil and friendly. Plus, they still have to work together to co-parent little Kelly. Could Liam’s request put Steffy in an awkward position? How will she react to Liam using baby Beth to manipulate her?
