The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has a strong reaction to Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) news. He isn’t as joyful as she is about Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) adoption. He is already spread thin and now he is responsible for another child.
B&B spoilers indicate that after Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) signs adoption papers, Hope finds herself in a dangerous situation. She manages to escape, but it is at the expense of Thomas’ life. At least, that is what seems to happen. Whether he is dead or not hasn’t exactly been made clear yet.
For a long time, Hope has tried to be a mother figure to Douglas. Even after the “PhoeBeth” reveal and her leaving Thomas, she still maintained her connection to the little boy. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) had a lawyer draw up adoption papers. This has been Hope’s main focus. In fact, it’s the whole reason she agreed to meet Thomas at Forrester Creations to begin with.
After thinking she accidentally killed Thomas, Hope focuses on finding Douglas. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that she does and takes him home. She shares the news that she is Douglas’ legal mother with her family, which includes her significant other, Liam. However, he isn’t as happy as she is.
Liam doesn’t have a very positive reaction to the adoption. He was never fully on board with the adoption idea. Annika Noelle explained Liam’s perspective in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest.
“Liam doesn’t see this the same way that Hope does. Hope has been too distracted from seeing that Liam is already being stretched thin between his two little girls, and trying to maintain a family for each of his daughters.”
Will Hope be surprised that Liam isn’t happy about Douglas’ adoption? How will he stretch his already limited time for yet another child? Can he opt out of being the adoptive father or will the Forrester family fight Hope for the child?
