Katie is currently in the hospital after she is told that she is in kidney failure. She is on dialysis, but that isn’t an option for very long due to her health complications. In fact, Dr. Davis (Tisha Campbell) informs Katie that time is running out and she needs a kidney transplant immediately. Things are going to get real very quickly for the character.
