The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that with the baby switch about to be revealed, Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) fate is being questioned.

Since arriving back in Los Angeles, Thomas has become obsessed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). He believes she’s the love of his life and he wants to recapture what they had. Thomas’ behavior has teetered on unhinged in his pursuit to win Hope’s heart.

He’s used his son Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) as part of his plan. But Thomas’ actions have become dangerous when he drugged Hope’s ex husband Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). A drugged Liam would sleep with Steffy Forrester (Jacquline MacInnes Wood), leading to the end of his marriage to Hope.

When Thomas learned that Hope’s daughter Beth was alive, he knew this would destroy his plan. He threatened Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) in order to keep them quiet. When Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) learned the truth and tried to tell Hope, she was killed in a car wreck, which was caused by Thomas.

With the baby switch reveal coming out, Thomas’ plan is going to be exposed. Everyone will find out that he knew the truth, and that he killed Emma.

When Thomas’ actions are discovered, fans are going to wonder what will happen to the character.

Everyone assumes that Thomas will be sent to prison for murder, however with most soap operas, character rarely are sent to prison.

Odds are that instead of prison, Thomas will be sent to a mental hospital. Thomas has issues and there’s a reason for his behavior, so being sent to a mental hospital will give viewers perspective into his behavior.

Fans have been upset with the way Thomas’ character has been written since his return. Many want to know the reason behind his actions and if there’s any way he can be redeemed.

Having Thomas sent to a mental hospital could be the first step in redeeming his character, but prison could also help transform Thomas.

There’s no telling what the writers have in store for Thomas, but one thing’s for certain, the character will face some type of punishment.
