B&B spoilers indicate that despite missing Ridge, Brooke is not backing down. Even though Hope vowed to get the adoption papers signed, Brooke wants to take things even further. On Monday’s episode, she told Ridge that Thomas needed to “go somewhere” and get medication. Ridge did not take kindly to his wife suggesting that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) be institutionalized, stripped of his parental rights and drugged.

While Brooke stood her ground, Ridge was just as passionate and firm. He brought up that Thomas was spending time with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). He was hopeful that the father and son would continue to bond. When it was suggested that Thomas could snap at any moment and he is someone to be feared, Ridge looked lost, desperate and hopeless.

Deep inside, Ridge wonders if his son will ever really be okay. Despite his concerns, he won’t verbalize this doubt. With a sad and pleading voice, Ridge kept repeating that his son is okay, Thomas is fine, everything is just dandy.

As for the couple known as “Lope,” things are just as strained, but in a different way. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Hope has been totally consumed by the custody issue. It’s all she thinks about, talks about and Douglas is the only things she seems to hear.
