The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Covers Her Tracks, Doesn’t Want To Be Traced For Adam’s Dirty Dealings

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) will cover her tracks, because she doesn’t want to be outed as the hacker into Dr. Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) tablet which allowed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to access his father Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) medical records and nearly kill him with double dose medications, in addition to other things she won’t want traced back to her!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Newman Knows Adam Newman Can Hold What She Did Over Her Head

Phyllis knows that Adam can hold what she did over his head, although she is confident that he won’t. There is a saying that goes, “I will always be your friend because I know too much!” This is the kind of friendship that Phyllis and Adam have; he knows too much about her, and she knows too much about him, and either could choose to use what they know to take the other one down!

Even though all charges have been dropped and Victor survived, after perpetrating an elaborate death ruse which served to put a guilt trip on Adam, she will still want to cover any tracks that might lead back to her in regards to hacking into the tablet. There are still questions of HIPAA violations that could come into play, although since Victor let Adam leave without being arrested, there is not much that can be done now. Still, she’ll want to be careful.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Newman Tracked Cane Ashby To Las Vegas By Eavesdropping On His Phone Call

Cane Ashby, (Daniel Goddard) who came to Las Vegas looking for Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) and also Adam, was likely annoyed to find Phyllis there when he arrived! He had gone to Adam’s penthouse looking for him and found Phyllis there too, since she was housesitting for Adam, and told her to contact him if she heard from Adam. Cane is probably thinking that Phyllis and Adam must be in cahoots. Cane just wants to verify if Chance was behind the challenge to Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, and if not, or if he cannot find Chance, to see if he finds Adam there, who he is likely suspicious is behind the whole thing and impersonated Chance in sending the copy of the “real will” to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and sent the email to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) several weeks ago.

Why he would fake the will to leave Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) portion of Katherine’s estate to him mystifies him; will he disappear and his identity be stolen next? Other Y & R spoilers tease that shortly after he finds Phyllis, he gets a message from Chance wanting to meet him, and when he goes to meet him, someone comes up from behind and knocks him out! Would Phyllis be capable of doing something like that and needing to cover her tracks? For Cane, it will be a wild goose chase from puzzle to enigma to conundrum, but for Phyllis, would she really stoop that low to help Adam? Or is he blackmailing her with something to help him, possibly the hacking of Nate Hastings’ hospital tablet?
