Soap Stars Darin Brooks And Kelly Kruger Share Exciting News

“Bold and the Beautiful” star Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) and his wife, The Young and the Restless star Kelly Kruger (MacKenzie Browning) have some very exciting news that they are sharing with their fans! The two soap actors are expecting their first child together. The couple tied the knot back in 2016.

In an interview with People Magazine, Kruger said that both she and Brooks are excited to become new parents. They’ve been trying to start their own family for some time now.

“After about a year of trying to have a baby, we couldn’t be more excited to be bringing our love into this world,” Kruger told the publication. “I get so emotional when I think about the fact that I’m growing a little human in my body that’s half me and half Darin. I cry every time I think about it!”

Brooks also said that he thinks Kruger is going to be a phenomenal mom. Despite having to deal with all of the issues that come with the first trimester, she’s been working on her multiple projects and films non-stop.

“Kelly’s been truly amazing through this whole process! She’s been filming and working through it all, which is incredible!” he said. “And just the strength and energy she has had to be the bearer of this new little life form is inspiring!”

Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger first met on the set of Blue Mountain State back in 2010. Seeing how Darin has been getting a lot of experience lately working with babies on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful, we have a feeling that fatherhood is going to be a piece of cake.

Now, what will make things even more interesting is if his on-screen character, Wyatt Spencer, get his own baby news in the near future.

It certainly would take on an interesting twist, seeing how he is now caught in the middle between his girlfriend, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and his former high school sweetheart, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden).
