There’s a new report that says Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating a pretty big milestone. The Cambridges have managed to pick up 10 million followers on their Instagram account. This is about 600,000 more followers and fans than what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently have. Here’s what you need to know.

According to The Sun, everyone is logging in and checking out what the Cambridges are doing these days. In fact, they seem to be now more popular than ever before. Many royal fans are praising William and Kate’s rather impressive social media achievement.

Quite a few fans commented on the 10 million milestone mark by writing, “The Kensington Palace Instagram account has 10,000,000 million followers! Yes, ten million! Congratulations,” along with, “10 million followers!!! Congratulations to you!”

Congratulatory Messages From Fans

Another fan wrote, “Congratulations on reaching 10M followers! Keep up the great work.”

The account was set up back in 2015 and was initially a place where fans could keep up with both Prince William and Prince Harry and of course, Kate Middleton. For a while Meghan Markle was also featured on the account but the Sussexes decided to set up their own Instagram in April.

And while the Cambridges like to highlight the royal engagements and public appearances they often attend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle use their account to shine a spotlight on different issues that matter to both them and their fans each month. They also include quotes from inspirational figures.

Of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t doing so bad in the fan and follower race, either. Even though they’ve only had their account for five months now they’ve managed to attract 9.4 million followers.
