Meghan Markle To Make Her First Visit To Balmoral

It looks like Meghan Markle is truly enjoying all of the perks that come with being a member of the British royal family. That’s because the former Hollywood actress is joining Queen Elizabeth at her summer getaway at Balmoral Castle. In fact, this will be her first trip there and according to reports, it’s quite a big deal for Meghan. Here’s why.

Page Six reports that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their adorable tot Archie Harrison will be making the trip as early as next week. Interestingly enough Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children were just at Balmoral but apparently decided to leave when they heard that the Sussexes were making their way up there.

And while this might look like a huge deal for some, there’s a very good chance that Meghan Markle might feel a tad bit uncomfortable with the Queen and especially before dinner time. That’s because Balmoral is where the Queen likes to dine on pheasant or venison, which is usually caught right on her estate. That might not sound like a good idea for Meghan who is an animal rights activist and follows a vegan diet.

With that said, there will certainly be a lot of things for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Queen Elizabeth to talk about during their stay. After all, Queen Elizabeth did recently make a big move by approving a controversial order to prorogue Parliament, with many critics calling it her most daring, if not also unpopular, move in recent years. Plus, there’s also the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are almost always in the news, with some pointing out that they have also been unfairly criticized by the press.

During these last few weeks, Harry and Meghan were called out for being hypocritical “eco-warriors” for taking a private jet on several different occasions. They spent Meghan’s 38th birthday in Ibiza and were spotted taking a private jet from London to the Spanish island. A few weeks later the Sussexes were again spotted taking a private jet from their home base to the South of France to visit with Elton John’s family.
