General Hospital Star Laura Wright’s Plea To Her Fans

Laura Wright is on a mission. The stunning actress, who is best known for her role as Carly Corinthos on General Hospital, has a new plea to her fans as she wants to save a very precious pet in her friend’s life. Here’s what we know.

Laura Wright Ask Fans To Helo Her Son’s Friends Dog

The beautiful blonde recently took to her Twitter account to help save son’s friend. Apparently, the four-legged furry family member needs a special care. She posted a pic and wrote to her social media followers, “This is my sons best friend —- his heart is breaking ….. any amount can help.”

Laura also included a link to the Go Fund Me page that details what little Maiya is going through right now. She’s a 10-week-old pup who needs a desperate miracle.

Laura Tweeted To Fans

The site says, “Maiya is a 10-week-old puppy that I bought without being told of her health issues. Upon bringing her home on January 13th I immediately started to notice that something wasn’t right. The next morning I took her to my local vet who informed me that she was very sick. The immediate diagnosis was severe anemia. The anemia has weekend her body to the point to where she needs a blood transfusion. Please be the miracle to save Maiya’s life.”

So far it looks like Laura’s plea to her fans has managed to work as the Go Fund Me page has collected more than $1,000 and counting. Some fans have written comments such as, “I am donating in Baze’s name. He was my best friend. I was told he was healthy at adoption, turns out he wasn’t he had a bad heart and asthma. I hope your sweet pup gets the medical attention and bounces back…So you can enjoy your sweet friendship as much as I enjoyed my Baze.”

So far Laura herself has not made any additional comments although it’s without a doubt that her family and friends are hoping that this sweet pup pulls through! In the meantime, don’t forget that General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
