Say it isn’t so! One of our favorite child actors is bidding farewell to General Hospital. As a matter of fact, new reports indicate that TK Weaver (Danny Morgan) won’t be back on the canvas.

He is the young son of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). The talented young boy has been on the show since 2016. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, TK has been let go from the show but unfortunately he wasn’t told why. However, reports do say that the character of Danny has indeed been recast although the new actor’s name has not been released.

General Hospital Spoilers: TK Weaver Was Let Go With No Reason

TK shared his status with the show on social media with his fans. Needless to say, the move came as a surprise for both TK and his fans. He didn’t expect to be let go so suddenly and without much notice either. This has led a lot of people to assume that the character has been SORAS’d, meaning that we might see a much older version of Danny Morgan in the coming weeks.

“I found out a couple of weeks ago but I was asked not to tell anyone,” TK’s account posted. “Broke my heart. I love you all so much. I love my GH family and all of you who make my day everyday!!!! You guys are the best!”

(Really TK) Hi all you amazing people – most who were fans of my Danny – a few didn’t like my chill way of acting. I don’t know, I felt that Danny was a lot like me so I acted like… me. If you didn’t like my Danny you would probably think I’m a weird kid. I’m okay with that. I thought it made Danny more real. GH Spoilers: TK Weaver Is Bummed About Loss Of Role

Despite feeling pretty bummed over the move, TK did reach out to his television mom Kelly Monaco and his television dad Steve Burton for being so supportive over the years. He called Kelly “the most beautiful & classiest set mom a kid could ever ask for. Also, the amazing #billymiller (Drew) who isn’t on social media but who called me with great advice & offered to come to my house and give me a big bear hug if ever I need one.”

With that said, we have a feeling that we will be seeing TK Weaver on other shows and films sooner rather than later. It’ll be no time before he finds another role again. This young boy has a very bright future ahead of him!
