General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease an exciting new storyline coming up for Laura Collins (Genie Francis)! The mayor of Port Charles’ life has settled down a bit since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was caught and incarcerated, but all of that seems to be about to change!
Recently, GH has been teasing viewers with hints that Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stable) is not dead after all. Once Laura realizes that Nik might be out there somewhere, she won’t let anything stop her from finding her son! Laura will want to go looking herself, not taking a chance on letting others do it for her.
Like it or not, Laura has an adventurous streak. Since her days searching for the Ice Princess until now, Laura has always found herself in the middle of danger and intrigue. Laura likes to be in the thick of things.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura And Kevin Collins Had A Difficult Year
And while this side of Laura may not mesh well with being mayor, it’s her relationship with Kevin that may suffer the most. The two of them have had a difficult year, but their love seems to be stronger than ever right now. But will circumstance tear them apart?

Kevin just recently went back to work at GH and is looking forward to living a normal, uneventful life after everything Ryan put him through. And the last time he went with Laura to find Nik, he ended up getting shot for his trouble! So although he would never stop Laura from finding her son, he may not want to go racing back into danger!
In addition, Kevin may be needed in Port Charles to assist with deprogramming Franco (Roger Howarth). Kevin was the therapist that really got through to Franco and it’s easy to see a scenario where Franco will need intensive therapy when and if he gets his real memories back.
General Hospital Spoilers – Will Laura Collins Discover A Brand New Love?
Details of Michael Knight’s new GH character haven’t been revealed, so it’s no stretch to imagine Laura someone running into this newcomer during her search. Danger brings people together and although Laura would never cheat on her husband, she may find herself drawn to the newcomer! He might even be invaluable in helping her find and rescue Nik. This should bring them close together.
General Hospital has not released any casting information about Nikolas returning yet. So this storyline may take a bit of time to play out. One thing is for sure, there is going to be a lot of excitement coming up in Port Charles. Tune in weekdays on ABC and check back right here for more information as it becomes available!
