General Hospital Spoilers: Will Kevin's Medical Records Convince Ferncliff Of His True Identity?General Hospital spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may have inadvertently given his twin Dr. Kevin Collins a way out and also a way to save Laura Collins (Genie Francis) from Ryan!

In December 27th’s General Hospital episode, Ryan gave his brother a visit, mainly to gloat about how well he was able to take over his life; Kevin wasn’t at all happy to hear Ryan had committed two more murders, but more than anything, he was worried about his Laura!

As Ryan was getting ready to leave, he said he needed to keep Kevin “healthy” and told him there was a part of his life that Ryan didn’t know anything about so he wanted him to fill him in; which of course, he refused!

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Closing In On Ryan

Meanwhile, over at the Floating Rib, Laura was just as worried about Kevin, although she (and no one else in Port Charles) so far has realized that Ryan is alive (except Peyton Mills, played by John Patrick Jordan, who will likely be Ryan’s next victim) and that “Kevin is not himself” literally! She talked to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about her concerns that Kevin may have suffered another psychotic break, similar to what he suffered not long after Ryan’s “death” when he stalked Felicia pretending to be Ryan.

GH has again re-written history here, as long time General Hospital viewers will recall. It was actually a misunderstanding where Kevin pretended to be Ryan to find out what their mother did to him as a child, and when Felicia found out what he was really doing, she dropped the charges. However, he did enter mental health treatment afterwards.

So what could the idea that Kevin came up with that could save Laura be? Could he save himself as well, get himself released from Ferncliff, and stop his murderous twin from doing any more damage?

Considering that Ryan needed to know Kevin’s life during a time period he was not familiar with may speak of the time between his “death” in the funhouse and his coming off heavy sedation in Ferncliff, after which he grabbed Kevin and switched places with him. Laura’s bringing up Kevin’s psychotic break in which he thought he was Ryan and stalked Felicia, may give clues to what he is thinking.

General Hospital Spoilers – Can Kevin Save Himself

Could it be he is thinking that his own medical records may prove he is Kevin, and not Ryan? Could he demand patient rights to get his medical records, not Ryan’s from GH and get himself released? It’s certainly worth a try for Kevin to pursue this route; and it may not even be that difficult. One thing Ryan may have not realized, and possibly the GH writers may not either, is that identical twins do NOT have identical fingerprints!

If Kevin can convince Ferncliff staff to take his fingerprints, and some of “Todd Wilson’s” aka Ryan Chamberlain are undoubtedly on file with the PCPD to compare; so all the Ferncliff staff would have to do is request a fax of Ryan’s fingerprints, and compare them to Kevin’s. That would solve the whole problem!

Of course, Kevin may have some explaining to do as to why Ryan is even alive in the first place, but that’s another story for another future General Hospital spoiler! Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see how Kevin possibly rescues himself and Laura!
