General Hospital Spoilers: Who Pushed Obecht Overboard And Tried To Kill Her?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) fell overboard from the deck of the Haunted Star this week on General Hospital, where she is a guest at Franco and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth, Rebecca Herbst) wedding reception party!

A General Hospital promo shows her taking a tumble – or is it a push? – after a very tipsy Liesl apparently has said some things and shared some secrets that she shouldn’t have!

In the Monday, July 8th episode she is shown talking to Felix DuBois (Marc Samuel) about a “marriage that isn’t built to last”. She can’t be talking about Franco and Liz’s wedding, considering Felix was once involved with Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) in a love triangle with Lucas, and Lucas’ husband Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), the only marriage it would make sense for Liesl to be talking to Felix about would be Lucas and Brad’s.

General Hospital Spoilers – Someone Is Trying To Keep Obrecht Quiet

Liesl knows that their adopted child, Wliey Cooper-Jones (Eric and Theodore Olson) isn’t really the original baby they adopted, who was the child of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) but Jonah Corinthos, the child of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier); and that’s because she delivered Nelle’s baby at the side of a wooded road, and has recognized him when she’s seen him since then!

Brad is the only one who knows the truth of the baby swap besides Liesl and Nelle. Felix looks very confused as Liesl continues to drunkenly chatter! Could Brad have overheard their conversation and become frightened enough to push her overboard, hoping to drown the secret along with Liesl Obrecht?

Other General Hospital spoilers tease that later, Liesl also divulged a secret to Franco; will this be about the baby too, or about something else? General Hospital viewers know that Franco was very close to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Liesl’s niece, and he also knows about Nina’s very deep baby shaped hole in her heart, having gone on the run with her to Canada with baby Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) several years ago, after Nina induced labor in Ava Jerome (Maura West) and delivered baby Avery and kidnapped her!

Afterward, Franco even dosed himself with LSD so he could stay with Nina in Ferncliff, where she had been remanded as innocent by reason of insanity for the kidnapping! Could Liesl have spilled the Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) fake long lost daughter secret to Franco? Could Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have overheard and pushed her overboard?

General Hospital Spoilers – Will the Culprit Be Caught?

More importantly, does Liesl go overboard because of being drunk, or could either Brad or Valentin dosed her drink with a drug to make her so impaired that she would drown quickly, making it look like an accidental fall? Will Liesl live to tell the tale, or will she even remember what she said to Felix and Franco if she did?

Felix and Franco could be in danger of being eliminated to keep Liesl’s secrets that she drunkenly told them as well, so General Hospital writers may be setting up for another murder mystery, or at least attempted murder if Liesl survives!
