General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) won’t see eye to eye on something in an upcoming GH episode!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny And Carly Corinthos May Disagree Over Sonny Planning To Take Mike Corbin On A Trip Overseas

General Hospital viewers will recall that in Friday, December 6th’s episode Dr. Griffin Munro , (Matt Cohen), who had come to General Hospital to consult on his old friend Dr. Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) case at Carly’s request, also checked Mike’s medical records for Sonny.

He concurred with Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) opinion that Mike was in the last stages of Alzheimer’s and may not recognize his family much longer, and had deteriorated significantly. Sonny had asked Griffin if there was anything more that could be done, and Griffin mentioned an experimental study in Sweden involving enzymes and that he could write a recommendation.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos May Propose Taking Mike Corbin To Sweden And Carly Corinthos May Not Agree It Would Help

Sonny already mentioned that money was no object in getting his father any treatment that may keep him around mentally for a longer time, and he and Carly may argue about putting his father, with Griffin’s help with a recommendation into this experimental treatment study. Carly may be thinking from the standpoint of Sonny setting himself up for false hope and disappointment, and the trip being too hard on Mike and possibly even Sonny losing Mike in some airport on the way!

Mike, after all, has been known to take off and be disorientated with place, time, and situation, like the time he took Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for an overnight stay in a horse barn, thinking she was Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) as a child! Plus, what kind of additional confusion could a trip like that to a foreign country cause Mike himself? What if the Swedish doctors don’t speak English? It’s very doubtful that Sonny himself speaks Swedish!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Herself May Fear It Will Have The Same Outcome As Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s Experimental Treatment

The experimental cancer treatments that Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) late boyfriend, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) went through and died anyway is probably fresh in Carly’s mind as well. She may fear that the expensive experimental treatments and the trip to Sweden may be too hard on Mike himself, and besides, Sonny would have to make the decision to take Mike to Sweden by himself, because Carly needs to be in Port Charles as long as her brother Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) is in a precarious medical state himself. Time is of the essence if Mike were to try experimental Alzheimers’ treatments and Sonny would need to get him into it as soon as possible.

Carly has her brother to consider, and Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) who Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is taking care of who might need her help, and Donna Corinthos (Ella and Emma Hulen) in addition to Avery! It is a stressful time all around for the Corinthos family, and fussing over Mike’s care doesn’t help!
