General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Tries To Distract Carly From Her Many Stresses

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) - Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will do his best to distract his overwhelmed wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) from all the stressful situations in their life.

Carly is concerned about her stepdaughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) and the Dawn of Day cult. She’s not as concerned as Sonny is though. Then there’s Carly’s stress of trying to stay strong for her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Josslyn’s first boyfriend, Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt) will die soon from his terminal brain tumor. She has been a mini-me of Carly, trying to stay strong and positive for him, but there’s only so much she can do.

General Hospital Spoilers – Writers Rewriting History

Then there’s the issue of Sonny and Carly’s new baby, and the possibility of him or her potentially inheriting some type of genetic disorder. She may be worried about the heart defect that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had as a baby. But historically, that came from the Quartermaine side.

GH writers though have had an increasingly bad habit of rewriting history lately. Think Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seducing Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and having baby Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and her worries that her daughter Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) might not be really hers.

General Hospital viewers will also recall how fast the story changed from Sonny burying Margaux Dawson’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) father for Joe Scully Sr (Robert Miano) to Sonny having been the hit man who killed him! So the possibility of Carly and Sonny’s baby inheriting the heart defect that Michael had shouldn’t be surprising if it happens.

Carly may also be concerned about Michael dating Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson), although she doesn’t seem to be going full blown nosy about her so far.

Viewers can tell she figured out something had gone on between Michael and Sasha. But surprisingly enough, she didn’t follow her usual spidey-senses and start butting in where she doesn’t belong, namely being the helicopter mom of a grown man!

There’s a lot on Carly’s plate and Sonny knows it. Will he be able to provide some much-needed distraction from all her worries, or will Carly be unable to relax?
