General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Makes A Deal — Is It Enough To Keep Trouble Away?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is looking to make a deal soon.

As General Hospital viewers know, Sonny’s always involved in situations in which he could need to bargain, and lots of them!

In a recent episode of General Hospital, he was informed by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the involvement of Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) in Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) serious illness. It was diagnosed as a mutated or genetically engineered or modified version of avian influenza.

Sonny wanted to know if this was payback on him for turning Cassandra down on a deal she’d offered. Michael responded it was payback to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over something. Sonny asked Nina for more information about what happened, but she didn’t want to give him any information. He pressed her, and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) happened to be nearby.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Sonny Corinthos Bargaining With A Kidnapper?

Then Jax stepped in when things started escalating between Nina and Sonny. He asked if there was going to be a problem. Meanwhile, Michael, who was talking to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). It turned out that his intel was the best lead they had. So Sonny’s bargaining could be about the Cassandra situation. Sonny is loyal to his family, and he doesn’t want Michael to be grieving yet another girlfriend!

Since the General Hospital powers-that-be have not yet released whether Drew Cain (Billy Miller) will be killed or recast, it is possible that he will be held hostage by someone overseas. This is thanks to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) giving into Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) blackmail and calling an old contact. Peter wanted to make sure Drew didn’t make it to Ethiopia to get Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) back to Port Charles.

Dr. Maddox could help Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) get his own memories and personality back. Sonny may not be buddy-buddy with Drew, but he is Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) brother and Samantha McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) ex. And since Jason is considered family, and involved in trying to get Franco back to his old self, then Sonny may get involved as well. This would be better left to the WSB to deal with. But Sonny and Jason go by the adage it’s best to handle things on their own and leave any kind of cops out of it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Repercussions From Barry Ziegler Disappearance?

It is possible there could be further legal repercussions from the disappearance of Barry Ziegler (Ron Rogge) who tried to set up Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) for robbing Sonny at his warehouse. Barry wound up fired with a handful of big bucks as his severance pay.

But then Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) showed up at the Corinthos home. He interrupted the aftermath of Sonny and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) wedding vow renewal. Dev did some fancy footwork, to throw Chase’s suspicions off of Sonny and Jason, but Sonny later corrected Dev for talking too much, which could cause the opposite effect. Sonny will need to bargain with the police if Ziegler’s body is found somewhere.
