General Hospital Spoilers: Sam To Help Protect Drew’s Legacy Despite Jason’s Reservations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will soon be exonerated for the murder of Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). But Sam has been through so much in the past year, with Dawn of Day and then Shiloh’s death. Awhile back, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) suggested that will Drew Cain (Billy Miller) presumed dead, that Sam take over his position at Aurora Media.

Sam didn’t want to make any rash decisions, and Shiloh was still a threat at the time so Sam never really gave Jax an answer. But now, after everything that Sam has been through, and all the danger that has come with her life as a private investigator, Sam may very well consider taking Jax up on his offer. As viewers know, Drew and Sam started Aurora Media as a legacy for their children that wasn’t mob related.

With Drew not coming back anytime soon, Sam will possibly feel a responsibility to Aurora. And it will probably be a nice change from all the danger that Sam has faced. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will likely be disappointed by this decision, but he should understand how important Aurora is to Sam. How this will impact their relationship in the long-term however, is unknown.

Jason and Sam have always lived their lives on their own terms, and have not shied away from danger. Their lives have been at risk more times than they can probably count. But that’s why how their relationship worked. If they change the dynamic of that relationship, and Sam re-enters the corporate world, it’s possible their relationship may change, perhaps for the better, perhaps not.
